Iran’s interior minister to meet Mohsin Naqvi next week
According to diplomatic sources, the visit aims to strengthen bilateral ties and expand cooperation between the two neighbouring countries on issues of mutual interest.
During the visit, Dr Eskandar Momeni is expected to meet Mohsin Naqvi to discuss measures to enhance cooperation between Pakistan and Iran. The two ministers are also expected to exchange views on the regional situation following the recent ceasefire agreement and its possible implications for both countries.
The discussions are expected to focus on expanding bilateral trade and strengthening cooperation on key security issues, including border management and regional stability.

Officials from both countries are also expected to review ways to strengthen coordination between their interior ministries and enhance institutional cooperation. Diplomatic sources said both sides are expected to explore new opportunities for closer cooperation to address shared security challenges and further strengthen bilateral relations. The upcoming visit is being seen as an important step towards strengthening ties between Pakistan and Iran.
