TEHRAN (Web Desk): Iran has rejected claims by US President Donald Trump that a peace agreement between the two countries is ready to be signed, adding new uncertainty to ongoing diplomatic efforts.

The latest dispute emerged after Trump suggested that a breakthrough agreement could be finalized soon.

However, Iranian officials quickly dismissed the statement, saying no final decision has been made regarding the proposed US Iran peace deal. Iranian authorities stressed that discussions are continuing and important issues remain unresolved.

According to a statement from Iran’s Revolutionary Guard, negotiators had already clarified that no agreement would be signed on Sunday.

Officials said Trump’s comments do not reflect the current status of the negotiations and should not be viewed as confirmation of a finalized Donald Trump Iran deal.

Iranian authorities also rejected suggestions that the agreement has entered its final phase. They stated that decision-making bodies are still reviewing the proposed framework and that no official approval has been granted.

This response came shortly after Trump expressed confidence that a deal could be reached quickly and that regional tensions would ease afterward.

The disagreement highlights the challenges surrounding ongoing US Iran negotiations. While reports indicate that significant parts of the draft text have been discussed, Iranian officials insist that their country will not compromise on key national interests.

Trump recently said that progress in talks could help reopen the Strait of Hormuz and improve stability in the region.

Iran, however, maintains that negotiations are still under review and that any announcement about a final US Iran peace deal would come only after all internal procedures are completed.

Political analysts say the conflicting statements show that US Iran negotiations remain at a delicate stage. Public comments from both sides suggest there is still a gap between expectations in Washington and positions held in Tehran.

The latest developments have drawn global attention because any successful Donald Trump Iran deal could affect regional security, energy markets, and future diplomatic relations. For now, however, Iran continues to reject claims that a final agreement has been reached.
