PM Shehbaz departs for Qatar after former Emir’s passing
During the visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz will meet Qatar’s Emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, and personally convey condolences to the Qatari Royal Family and the people of Qatar on behalf of the Government and people of Pakistan.
Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Ishaq Dar, and Minister for Information and Broadcasting Attaullah Tarar are accompanying the prime minister on the visit.
According to officials, the visit reflects the longstanding brotherly relations between Pakistan and Qatar and highlights the close ties shared by the leadership and people of both countries.
