IESCO announces power outage in Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal
Power outages announced in several areas
The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced temporary electricity suspensions across several areas. The IESCO power outages are planned as part of maintenance and development work on feeders and grid stations.
According to the company, consumers should expect electricity interruptions at different times depending on their area.
The latest IESCO outage schedule includes parts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, Taxila, Kahuta and surrounding areas.
The Rawalpindi power outage will affect consumers connected to the Sagri and Kallar Syedan feeders in Rawalpindi Cantt Circle.
Rawalpindi outage timings
Electricity supply in the affected Rawalpindi areas will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am.
Residents should make necessary arrangements before the Rawalpindi power outage, particularly those who depend on electricity for businesses, offices and other daily activities.
The company has included the outage in its IESCO outage schedule to allow consumers to prepare for the temporary disruption.

Attock areas to face power cuts
Several parts of Attock will also experience an Attock power outage during the maintenance work.
According to IESCO, electricity supply in Attock Circle will remain suspended from 5:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The affected feeders include Hussain Abad, Lala Zar and Industrial Estate Bather.
Consumers affected by the Attock power outage may face difficulties during the morning and early afternoon hours. They have been advised to complete important electrical work before the scheduled shutdown.
Chakwal electricity suspension
Chakwal is also included in the latest IESCO power outages plan.
Electricity will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 12:00 pm on the Jamal Wal, Mengan, Karyala and KSM Unit-3 feeders.
The Chakwal power outage is also linked to maintenance and development work. Residents and businesses in the affected areas should prepare for the temporary electricity suspension.
More areas included in schedule
IESCO has also announced interruptions in areas served by the GSO Circle. The work will involve several 132kV grid stations.
The affected areas include Rawat-II, AWC HMC Taxila, Sangjani-Burhan, Kahuta City-Palandri and New Wah-Bahtermore.
The IESCO outage schedule shows that these areas may face power interruptions at different times between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
The Rawalpindi power outage and other scheduled cuts are expected to remain temporary. IESCO said the supply could be restored earlier if the maintenance work is completed ahead of schedule.

IESCO apologizes to consumers
The company has apologized for the inconvenience caused by the IESCO power outages. It said the maintenance work is necessary to improve and maintain the electricity system.
The Chakwal power outage and Attock power outage may affect households, shops and offices during the announced timings.
Consumers should therefore check the IESCO outage schedule and plan their activities accordingly.
