A special Elite Force uniform for Maryam Nawaz has been prepared on which her name and rank are also written. Pictures of the uniform have been shared widely on social media.

It is learnt that Maryam Nawaz Sharif will attend the passing-out parade of the Elite Force this week during which she is likely to wear the uniform.

According to Punjab police, all preparations have been completed for the passing-out parade of the Elite Force at the Elite Training Centre located on Bedian Road, Lahore.

However, the police have not announced the final date on which the passing-out parade will be held.

Earlier on April 25, Maryam Nawaz donning a police uniform addressed a passing-out parade at Chung Police Training Centre in Lahore.

The chief minister inspected the parade where she was given a guard of honour. She also distributed prizes to the top performers from the police training centre.

While addressing the passing-out parade, she said that it was a matter of pride for her to attend the passing-out parade.

Later, a petition was filed before the District and Sessions Judge of Lahore to register a criminal case against Maryam Nawaz for wearing the Punjab police uniform during the parade.
