The government has also stopped the use of public funds for seminars, training sessions and conferences. However, important official events that cannot be avoided will be allowed under specific conditions.
Rules for necessary events
The government has directed that unavoidable official events should only be held in government halls, auditoriums and committee rooms. The measure is intended to prevent unnecessary spending on venues and event arrangements.
Requests seeking an exemption from the new rules will be reviewed individually. A monitoring committee will examine such requests and submit its recommendations to the prime minister for final approval.
