Operation Shaban: Four more terrorists killed in Saran Tangi Balochistan, toll hits 83
The joint operation by the Pakistan Army, Frontier Corps Balochistan and police was launched in the aftermath of the terrorist attack on Mangi Dam Police Station and remains underway, with forces intensifying action against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Khawarij across the province.
Security sources said forces were targeting terrorists through coordinated air and ground operations, with effective action inflicting heavy losses on terrorist groups.
Since July 5, a total of 121 Kharjis have been killed in Operation Shaban and other intelligence-based operations, sources said, adding that Operation Shaban will continue in Balochistan until the last terrorist is eliminated.
Security sources said a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from those killed, including M4 rifles, submachine guns, a rocket launcher, mobile phones, and other equipment. The recovered material is expected to be examined further as part of the ongoing investigation into militant activity in the province.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi praised security forces for further successes during the ongoing operation, saying the extraordinary results achieved by the Pakistan Army, FC Balochistan and police were commendable. Naqvi said the nation viewed with appreciation the security forces' effective operations against terrorists belonging to Fitna al-Hindustan.
Terrorists ambushed police personnel deployed in the Kach Mangi Phase III area of Ziarat on July 8, triggering hours-long gun battles that left nine police officers, including two station house officers, dead, with several civilians and policemen also abducted.
ISPR Director General Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry said 42 people, including 11 soldiers, 27 police personnel and four civilians, were martyred across three separate attacks carried out by Fitna al-Khwarij and Fitna al-Hindustan in Balochistan.
