According to officials, militants killed nine police officers, including two station house officers (SHOs), during the attack and abducted 18 other personnel at gunpoint.
The bodies of the abducted police personnel were later recovered from the Zarghoon Gar mountainous area, prompting security forces to intensify the ongoing operation. Authorities said security forces remain committed to restoring peace in the region and will continue the operation until militant networks are dismantled.
