(Web Desk): A reported Iran-US memorandum outlines steps toward easing tensions, maintaining Iran’s nuclear program, lifting restrictions, and reaching a final agreement within 60 days.

New details have emerged regarding a reported memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States, signaling a potential breakthrough in efforts to reduce tensions and pave the way for a broader diplomatic agreement.

According to a Bloomberg report, Iran would be allowed to maintain its current nuclear program under the proposed framework, while the United States would refrain from imposing new sanctions. The report suggests that Washington would also move to end restrictions affecting Iranian maritime activities immediately after the memorandum is signed.

Under the reported terms, Iran would take measures within 30 days to restore and facilitate maritime shipping operations, an important step aimed at boosting trade and economic activity. The framework also outlines a roadmap for ending hostilities and gradually easing sanctions, with both sides targeting a comprehensive final agreement within 60 days.

Bloomberg reported that Iran and the United States have agreed to maintain the current situation until a permanent deal is finalized. The understanding reportedly includes a mutual commitment to avoid aggressive actions, military escalation, or threats that could undermine the negotiation process.

The reported development comes amid growing international concern over regional stability, energy security, and the future of Iran’s nuclear activities. Analysts believe that progress in negotiations could help reduce geopolitical tensions across the Middle East and support stability in global energy markets.

The report further states that the United States has indicated a willingness to support Iran’s economic recovery as part of a broader normalization process. While officials from both countries have yet to formally announce a final agreement, the reported roadmap is being viewed as a significant step toward renewed diplomatic engagement after years of strained relations and economic pressure.
