Iran sends fresh diplomatic proposals via Pakistan
The development comes as indirect communication between Iran and the United States continues through mediating channels.
Iran’s ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghaddam, said in an interview with Iranian media that progress in talks depends on the behaviour of the United States. He added that Pakistan remains an active and trusted mediator in the ongoing process.
According to the ambassador, Iran Pakistan mediation is still playing a central role in keeping diplomatic communication open between Tehran and Washington.
He said Iran has already shared its updated proposals through Pakistan, which reflects its clear stance on key issues.
He further stated that Iran negotiation proposals have been prepared to address ongoing regional tensions and conflict-related concerns.

These proposals, he said, were passed to Pakistan, which continues to act as the main channel for indirect dialogue.
The ambassador also confirmed that Pakistan diplomatic role has not changed, and Islamabad is still handling message exchanges between both sides. He said Pakistan has forwarded Iran’s proposals to the United States as part of its mediation efforts.
Iranian officials believe that Pakistan’s involvement remains important for maintaining communication stability. They also suggested that international observers are aware of Pakistan’s role in facilitating these indirect contacts.

In addition, the ambassador emphasized that Iran Pakistan mediation is appreciated by Tehran, and there is no plan to replace Pakistan as a mediator at this stage. He added that discussions are still ongoing through diplomatic backchannels.
He also noted that Iran negotiation proposals reflect Iran’s broader position on ending tensions, while stressing that any real progress will depend on how the United States responds.
