US President Donald Trump has said that American naval forces are moving toward Iran, but stressed that it would be better if they are not used for military action.
Speaking to journalists, President Trump said the United States currently has several large and powerful ships heading in Iran’s direction. He expressed hope that the situation would not reach a point where military force becomes necessary.
Trump said the US still intends to hold further talks with Iran. He added that negotiations have taken place in the past and are expected to continue in the future as well. According to him, dialogue remains an important option despite rising tensions.
Commenting on global trade, the US president warned the United Kingdom against doing business with China. He said trade cooperation with China could prove very dangerous for Britain and may pose serious long-term risks.
Trump also issued a stronger warning for Canada, saying that doing business with China would be even more dangerous for Ottawa. He urged US allies to remain cautious about expanding trade ties with Beijing and to carefully assess the potential consequences.

The president said China’s growing economic influence is a concern and allies should avoid becoming overly dependent on Chinese trade and investment.
While speaking about Cuba, Trump said he does not believe the Cuban government will be able to survive in the long run. He did not provide further details but suggested that changes could take place in the future.
