Pakistani doctors and nurses wanted as Brunei boosts healthcare

(Web Desk): Brunei has invited Pakistani doctors and nurses to work in its healthcare sector, opening new overseas job chances for medical professionals.

In this regard, the Specialized Healthcare Department has issued a circular to all government teaching hospitals in Punjab. Hospital heads have been directed to inform doctors who may be interested in this opportunity.

According to the circular, Brunei needs specialists in medicine, critical care, neonatology, hematology, rheumatology, and urology. The country is also seeking senior medical officers, medical officers, and women medical officers.

To guide interested candidates, the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis has appointed the managing director of the Overseas Employment Corporation as the focal person. He will provide complete information and support to applicants.

Officials said this step aims to ensure smooth coordination and help Pakistani medical staff apply with clarity and confidence.
