PTCL has confirmed that a planned technical operation could cause slow browsing and connectivity issues across Pakistan. The company warned that users may face noticeable service disruptions during this period.

The situation has raised concerns as PTCL internet slowdown is expected between 11 May and 18 May due to essential repair work on undersea infrastructure. This maintenance is part of a global system upgrade managed by an international consortium.

According to officials, Pakistan internet issue may become more visible during peak hours when online traffic is at its highest. Users could face buffering while streaming, delayed downloads, and unstable connections during heavy usage times.
