(Web Desk): It has been reported that Apple has introduced the new MacBook Air with an M5 chip, doubling storage and boosting performance in the world’s most popular laptop.

One of the tech giants, Apple has introduced the new MacBook Air with M5, the latest addition to the well-known lightweight laptop series.

The announcement came from Apple’s official newsroom and highlights major improvements over previous models.

The new MacBook Air in M5 has the Apple M5 chip that is faster to serve daily life, creative activities and on-board artificial intelligence activities.

It also has enhanced graphics, enhanced machine learning, and faster SSD storage that makes the file access and workflow much faster.

One of the biggest changes is that the MacBook Air is now offered with twice the amount of storage that is 512GB and may be expanded to 4TB providing its users with significantly more space to store apps, photos, and files.

The laptop has an equally impressive battery life of up to 18 hours, it has a gorgeous Liquid Retina display, a 12MP Center Stage camera, spatial audio, and better wireless connectivity with Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6. It retains the thin and light design that the MacBook Air models are known for.

The new MacBook Air with M5 is available for pre-order starting March 4, 2026, and begins arriving to customers and stores on March 11, 2026, in many countries. It comes in several color options, including sky blue, midnight, starlight, and silver.
