PCB, Saudi Arabia sign MoU to build international cricket stadium in Jeddah
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) and the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation (SACF) have signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to develop an international cricket stadium in Jeddah. The agreement aims to promote cricket in Saudi Arabia and support the country’s Vision 2030 goals.
The agreement was signed by Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation Chairman Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Mohammad Al Saud and Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi. The partnership marks an important step towards expanding cricket in the Kingdom through long-term cooperation.
Mohsin Naqvi arrived in Riyadh on an official visit to hold discussions with the Saudi leadership on security and institutional cooperation. During the visit, both sides agreed to collaborate on the major cricket infrastructure project.
Under the agreement, the PCB and the Saudi Arabian Cricket Federation will work together on stadium infrastructure, technical expertise, venue planning, and operational standards. The goal is to develop a modern cricket stadium that meets international competition requirements.

Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Mohammad Al Saud said the partnership is not only about developing an international cricket stadium in Jeddah but also about building a long-term future for cricket in Saudi Arabia through shared ambition, trusted partnerships, and sustainable investment.
The project is expected to strengthen cricket development by expanding competitions, introducing technical programmes, and encouraging the exchange of expertise between the two cricket boards.
Officials said the new stadium will enhance Saudi Arabia’s ability to host major international cricket tournaments and other sporting events. The initiative is also expected to support the development of local players, coaches, and match officials while helping cricket grow across the Kingdom.
