According to the Met Office, Lahore’s temperature was recorded at around 28°C, while winds were blowing at nearly 9 kilometres per hour. Humidity levels remained close to 57%, and more than 50% cloud cover kept the weather pleasant throughout the day.

Officials said the city witnessed alternating sunshine and clouds, creating comfortable conditions for residents. The department has also predicted additional rain spells in Lahore and nearby regions over the coming days, which may further reduce temperatures.

In contrast, Karachi continued to experience intense heat and humid conditions. The weather department said the maximum temperature in the port city could reach 38°C, while the minimum temperature was recorded at 28.6°C.

Sea breezes from the southwest were moving at around 4 kilometres per hour, while humidity levels remained high at 75%, increasing the feeling of discomfort among residents despite air quality being declared satisfactory.

Meanwhile, Islamabad also experienced hot and dry weather. The temperature in the federal capital is expected to rise to 33°C, with winds blowing at 10 kilometres per hour. Morning temperatures in Islamabad were recorded at 24°C.

The Met Office said most southern parts of the country are likely to remain hot and dry, while northern and central regions may continue to receive rain and cloudy weather in the coming days.
