Punjab launches ‘E-Learn She Earn’ program to empower women digitally
The program has been introduced by the Maryam Nawaz with a total budget of Rs. 700 million. Officials say the initiative is designed to reduce the digital gap and create new earning opportunities for women across the province.
Training in Digital Skills
The program will offer free three-month training courses in high-demand fields such as digital marketing, e-commerce, graphic designing, virtual assistance, and online customer support. It aims to prepare women for freelancing and remote work in the global digital economy.
The initiative is being implemented jointly by the Punjab Skills Development Fund and the Women Development Department, Punjab.
Free Laptops, Stipends and Certification
Selected participants will receive free laptops, monthly stipends during training, internet support, and professional certification upon completion of the course. These benefits are intended to support women throughout their learning journey.
