Shehbaz completes five-day US visit
During his five-day US visit, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif attended the UN General Assembly session in New York.
He also met with several world leaders on the sidelines of the session to discuss regional and international developments. The prime minister’s engagements focused on Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts, regional peace and developments in the Middle East.
According to the Prime Minister’s Office, Shehbaz also met UN Secretary-General António Guterres during his visit. The two discussed major regional and international developments, including the situation in the Middle East.
PM Shehbaz addresses UN General Assembly
Shehbaz Sharif addressed the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York. In his speech, he highlighted Pakistan’s position on regional and global issues and stressed the importance of dialogue and diplomacy.
He also spoke about Pakistan’s efforts to promote peace and stability in the region.
The prime minister discussed the situation in the Middle East and highlighted the need for diplomatic efforts to address regional tensions. His UNGA engagements also covered issues related to Palestine, regional security, climate change, development and international cooperation.
Meetings with world leaders

Shehbaz meets Prince Rahim Aga Khan
The prime minister also met Prince Rahim Aga Khan V on the sidelines of the 81st UN General Assembly in New York. According to the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting focused on Pakistan’s longstanding relationship with the Aga Khan Development Network and opportunities for further cooperation.

London stay expected to last two to three days
After completing his US engagements, the prime minister travelled to London. The latest available report said Shehbaz is expected to remain in London for two to three days. He is also likely to undergo a medical check-up during his stay.
The London stop comes after he participates in the UN General Assembly and several meetings with foreign leaders and international officials. The stay is expected to be brief before the prime minister heads back to Pakistan.
PM expected to return to Pakistan
After completing his London engagements, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to return to Pakistan. His return will mark the end of a foreign trip that included his participation in the UN General Assembly and several diplomatic meetings.
