NADRA restores Madinah Registration Center services after Hajj
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) announced that the registration centre resumed operations on Sunday following the completion of Hajj arrangements, in accordance with the directives of the Saudi authorities.
With the reopening of the centre, Pakistani nationals living in Madinah and nearby areas can once again access NADRA’s registration and identity-related services without having to travel to another city.
NADRA had suspended services at the Madinah Registration Center on April 12, 2026, following instructions from the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah due to Hajj-related arrangements. At the time, the authority had announced that services would resume after the conclusion of the pilgrimage.
During the suspension period, NADRA increased staffing at its Jeddah Registration Center to manage the additional workload and facilitate Pakistani citizens seeking registration and identity-related services.

The authority also reminded overseas Pakistanis that several NADRA services remain available through the Pak ID mobile application, allowing users to access essential services remotely. Officials said Pakistanis requiring further assistance could also contact the Consulate General of Pakistan in Jeddah for guidance and support.
The restoration of services is expected to provide relief to thousands of Pakistani expatriates living in Madinah and surrounding areas by making identity-related services more accessible. NADRA said it remains committed to improving service delivery for overseas Pakistanis and ensuring uninterrupted access to essential registration facilities.
