Balochistan launches E-Domicile and E-Local certificate system for citizens
The new E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System has been launched under the Integrated Domicile Management System (IDMS) in partnership with NADRA.
Officials say the initiative will replace traditional manual procedures with a modern digital process.
Under the new system, residents will be able to submit applications for domicile and local certificates through official channels instead of relying on lengthy paperwork.
The government believes the digital process will improve transparency and reduce unnecessary delays.
Once the system becomes fully operational, citizens will be able to apply through NADRA registration centers, Deputy Commissioner offices and the Pak-ID platform.
This will allow applicants to complete the process more conveniently from different locations.
Officials said the digital platform will also strengthen document verification and reduce the chances of fake domicile and local certificates being issued.
The system is expected to minimize the role of middlemen by providing a direct and secure application process.

The government added that digital records created under the system will make it easier for public departments and law enforcement agencies to verify citizens’ information whenever required.
Authorities described the initiative as an important step toward improving public services through technology.
They said the new system reflects the provincial government’s commitment to making government services more efficient, transparent and citizen-friendly.
The launch of the E-Domicile and E-Local Certificate System is also expected to save applicants time while improving the overall accuracy of official records across Balochistan.
