Balochistan bus accident kills 40 after bus plunges into ravine
According to officials, the passenger bus was passing through the Dhana Sar area when it lost control and fell into a ravine shortly after crossing from Balochistan into Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Sherani Deputy Commissioner Wali Khan Kakar confirmed that at least 40 people were killed and 8 are injured in the tragic Balochistan bus accident.
He said rescue teams and ambulances from the district administration reached the crash site immediately after receiving information about the incident.
Emergency responders launched a rescue operation to recover victims and assist any survivors. Authorities are continuing relief efforts in the difficult mountainous terrain.
The cause of the Balochistan bus accident has not yet been officially confirmed. Officials are expected to investigate whether road conditions, speeding, or a mechanical fault contributed to the crash.
