The Punjab government has officially opened the Chief Minister Laptop Scheme portal, enabling eligible students from both public and private universities across the province to apply for free laptops.
According to official details, students who have secured 65% marks or above are eligible to apply under the scheme. The initiative aims to promote digital learning, enhance research capabilities, and support students in higher education by providing them with modern technological tools.

Applicants are required to enter their personal and academic details carefully. Students must ensure that their information, including CNIC or B-Form number and university enrollment details, is correct before submission. Incomplete or incorrect applications may be rejected during verification.
Eligibility criteria
The scheme is open to students enrolled in government and private sector universities recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC). Only students meeting the minimum academic requirement of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA can apply. Authorities have advised students to check their eligibility status through their institutions if unsure.
