Imran Khan’s sons raise fresh concerns over his health
Sons speak about Imran Khan’s health
Kasim Khan and Sulaiman Khan spoke to CNN about their father and his continued imprisonment.
The Imran Khan health issue has become a major concern for his family, particularly because they say they have been unable to get regular updates.
The brothers claimed that their father’s family members, doctors and lawyers had not been allowed to see him for around seven months.
Kasim Khan said the family was now more in the dark about his condition than ever before.
The Imran Khan sons also referred to an Islamabad High Court order allowing their father to speak with them by phone every two weeks.
Sons say they cannot visit Pakistan
The Kasim Khan and Sulaiman Khan interview also focused on their efforts to visit their father.
Speaking from London, the brothers claimed they had faced difficulties in travelling to Pakistan.
Kasim Khan said they believed visa delays and other administrative issues had made it difficult for them to visit.
The Imran Khan sons said they wanted to travel to Pakistan but had not received the required documents.
The government has previously said that both brothers could enter Pakistan using their National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis, or NICOP.
However, Kasim Khan said their cards had expired and that they were unable to use them for travel.

Government rejects visa claims
Pakistan’s information ministry told CNN that Kasim and Sulaiman had NICOPs and therefore did not require visas to enter Pakistan.
The ministry described their claims as misleading and said an administrative matter was being presented as political criticism.
However, CNN noted that the ministry did not address the brothers’ claim that their NICOPs had not been renewed.
The disagreement has added another layer to the ongoing debate surrounding Imran Khan imprisonment and his access to family members.
Could Imran reach a deal?
The brothers were also asked whether their father could reach an agreement with the government.
Sulaiman Khan said he did not believe Imran would accept a deal if other political prisoners remained behind bars.
Kasim Khan expressed a similar view but said the situation was difficult to predict.
He also raised concerns about the lack of a recent medical report.
The Imran Khan health situation, according to Kasim, could have changed significantly because the family had not been shown a current health report.
Health concerns continue
Imran has been in prison since August 2023 and is facing several legal cases.
His eye condition became a major concern earlier this year, after a problem affecting his right eye was reported.
The government has provided medical treatment, including procedures for the condition.
However, his family and opposition leaders have continued to demand access to his personal doctors.
The issue remains closely linked to Imran Khan imprisonment, as his family wants greater access and more information about his treatment.

The Imran Khan imprisonment has now continued for three years, while legal proceedings against him remain ongoing.
