Pakistan Peoples Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed concern over the ongoing unrest in Azad Jammu and Kashmir, saying the prolonged situation could have serious political and diplomatic consequences. He emphasized that instability in the region may undermine Pakistan's long-standing position on the Kashmir issue before the international community.
Bilawal stated that maintaining peace and stability in AJK is essential for protecting the credibility of Pakistan's stance on Kashmir. He stressed that unresolved tensions could provide opportunities for critics to question Pakistan's governance and commitment to democratic principles.

He urged the federal and regional governments to engage in constructive dialogue with all stakeholders to resolve grievances through constitutional and peaceful means. According to Bilawal, democratic consultation remains the most effective approach for addressing public concerns.
The PPP chairman also highlighted the importance of safeguarding citizens' rights while ensuring law and order. He said responsible political leadership should prioritize national unity and avoid actions that could deepen divisions during sensitive situations.
Bilawal reaffirmed Pakistan's commitment to supporting the people of Kashmir and called for collective efforts to preserve the country's international standing. He added that resolving internal issues peacefully would strengthen Pakistan's diplomatic position on Kashmir.
