Eid ul Adha message from armed forces highlights sacrifice, peace and stability
Top military leaders also paid tribute to martyrs and brave personnel. The military leadership extended warm Eidul Azha greetings to the people of Pakistan. They also honoured the sacrifices made by martyrs, armed forces personnel and law enforcement agencies serving the country.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations, Chief of Defence Forces and Chief of the Army Staff Syed Asim Munir, Chief of the Naval Staff Naveed Ashraf and Chief of the Air Staff Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu shared heartfelt Eidul Azha greetings with the nation. The military leadership prayed for lasting peace, prosperity and national unity across the country.
The ISPR said the armed forces recognised the courage and resilience shown by the Pakistani people during difficult times. It also praised the sacrifices rendered by martyrs, security personnel, law enforcement agencies and citizens for protecting the country.
The statement described Eidul Azha as a powerful symbol of sacrifice, faith and solidarity among the people. It added that the Pakistan armed forces remained fully committed to defending the country’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
“The Pakistan Armed Forces stand shoulder to shoulder with the nation in pursuit of peace and stability,” the ISPR said. The statement reflected the military’s continued support for national harmony and security.
Special tribute was also paid to the families of Shuhada-e-Pakistan for their unmatched sacrifices. The military leadership said their courage and dedication continued to strengthen the foundations of the nation.
