New Peoples Bus Service route launched
A new route of the Peoples Bus Service has been launched for residents of Larkana, Qambar and Shahdadkot. The service was introduced on the directions of Sindh Senior Minister for Information and Transport Sharjeel Inam Memon.
Memon said the new route would provide modern, comfortable and affordable travel facilities to people in the three cities. The service is expected to give residents another public transport option for daily travel.
Public transport expanded across Sindh
The minister said the Sindh government was expanding the Peoples Bus Service to different cities across the province. The goal is to provide more citizens with access to quality public transport.
The expansion is also aimed at improving travel facilities outside major urban centres. More routes could be introduced as the government continues its public transport plans.
Focus on affordable travel
Memon said the provincial government remains committed to providing modern public transport facilities to residents across Sindh. He added that accessible and affordable travel options remain an important government priority.
The new route is expected to benefit residents who need reliable transport for work, education and other daily activities. The government says better public transport can make travelling easier for citizens.
More cities to benefit from bus service
The Peoples Bus Service has been expanding to different parts of Sindh as part of the province’s public transport plans. The latest route connects Larkana, Qambar and Shahdadkot and is intended to improve mobility in the area.
Officials have described the expansion as part of efforts to make public transport more convenient and affordable. Further expansion would depend on the government’s future decisions and available resources.
The new route gives residents of three cities another public transport option. Its impact will depend on service frequency, coverage and how regularly buses operate.
The wider expansion of the Peoples Bus Service could improve connectivity across Sindh. Affordable and reliable transport can also make daily travel easier for many citizens.
