(Web Desk): Security forces killed 15 Indian sponsored terrorists in two separate intelligence-based operations (IOB) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday that the operations were conducted on November 15 and 16 against the India-backed terrorists.

On reported presence of militants, an intelligence-based operation was conducted by the security forces in area of Kulachi, Dera Ismail Khan District. During the conduct of operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resultantly ten including militant ring leader Alam Mehsud were eliminated.

According to ISPR, the intelligence-based operations targeted Indian-backed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists - Fitna-ul-Khawarij- including top leaders, as part of the ongoing counter-terrorism campaign “Azm-e-Istehkam."

In a separate operation in the Datta Khel area of North Waziristan, troops “successfully neutralised five more Khawarij,” the statement added.

“During the conduct of the operation, own troops effectively engaged the Khawarij location, resultantly ten Khawarij including the Kharji ring leader Alam Mehsud, being sent to hell,” the ISPR said.
