Gold prices plunge in Pakistan

ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): The prices of gold declined by Rs4,100 per tola in Pakistan.

The prices of gold witnessed a sharp decline in international and local market after fluctuation in internation market.

According to All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the gold is being sold at Rs247,300 per tola after seeing sharp decline of Rs4,100 in Pakistan. The 10 grams of gold saw decline of Rs3,515, settling at Rs235,168.

The reduction of gold prices in international market led to decline of gold price in local market. The price of gold reduced by $41 per ounce, closing at  $2,631 in international market.

However, silver prices remained constant. The price of per tola silver is Rs3,400 and 10 grams stands at Rs2,914.95.

It merits mention that gold prices also plunged on Monday, with a decrease of Rs4,300 per tola and Rs3,657 per 10 grams.

This substantial reduction in gold rates provides relief to buyers who have faced difficulty in purchasing due to continuous increase of the prices.
