Gold prices in Pakistan fall again as per-tola rate drops to Rs465,336
The All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association said the price of 10-gram gold also decreased by Rs686. The new price of 10-gram gold has reached Rs398,950.
Silver prices also move lower
Silver prices also declined in the local market. The price of one tola of silver fell Rs50 to Rs7,129, while 10-gram silver dropped Rs43 to Rs6,111.
The continued fall in precious metal prices has brought some relief to buyers. However, market rates may continue to change depending on international trends.
Global gold prices fall
Internationally, gold prices dropped by $8 per ounce to $4,428. Silver also became cheaper, falling 50 cents to $66.50 per ounce.
The movement in global markets is directly affecting prices in Pakistan. Local gold rates are closely linked to international prices and currency conditions.
More decline possible
A further fall in international gold prices could make gold cheaper in Pakistan as well. Buyers and traders will be watching global market movements closely for the next price change.
The latest decline suggests that gold prices are currently facing downward pressure. If this trend continues, local buyers could see further reductions in the coming days.
