Omar Ayub hits out at govt, commits to launch movement for rule of law

HARIPUR: (Web Desk) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader and Opposition Leader in the National Assembly Omar Ayub Khan announced to expedite the movement for rule of law.
Talking to reporters in Haripur, Omar Ayub stated that the country’s economic situation is deteriorating. He highlighted that by dint of depreciation in rupee value, the economy has suffered a loss of four billion rupees.
He hit out at federal government, saying that corruption has increased, the country has not received foreign direct investment for two years. Twenty lac people have left the country, he added.
Due to fragile economic policies, nearly 20 million people have fallen below the poverty line, Ayub said, adding that federal government owed $11billion to KP.
He also condemned FIRs registered against BNP Chief Sardar Akhtar Mengal. He said that he raised the issue of missing persons in a meeting with the Chief Justice of Pakistan.
