(Web Desk): US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran intensified with massive bombing in Tehran targeting government sites. The death toll has climbed to 1,332 as regional tensions surge.

The United States and Israel have intensified their airstrikes on Iran, launching fresh attacks on key government targets in Tehran, as the ongoing conflict in the Middle East continues to escalate.

According to regional media reports, powerful explosions were heard in western Tehran, while heavy bombardment near the iconic Azadi Tower destroyed several buildings. Massive plumes of smoke were reportedly visible from miles away following the strikes.

Mehrabad Airport Among Targets

Military sources confirmed that Mehrabad Airport in Tehran was also targeted during the latest wave of attacks conducted by US and Israeli forces.

The continued bombardment has significantly increased the civilian death toll in Iran, with officials reporting that 1,332 people have been killed so far.

Among the victims are 198 women and eight members of medical staff, highlighting the growing humanitarian concerns surrounding the conflict.

Iran Claims Radar System Destroyed in Jordan

Iranian authorities stated that their forces successfully destroyed the radar system of the THAAD missile defense system stationed in Jordan. The claim comes amid ongoing missile and drone exchanges between regional forces.

Military analysts say such actions reflect the widening scope of the conflict, which now involves multiple countries across the Middle East security landscape.

UN Peacekeepers Injured in Israeli Strike in Lebanon

In a related development, three United Nations peacekeepers were injured after an Israeli strike hit the Lebanese town of Al-Qouzah.

The United Nations strongly condemned the incident, emphasizing that peacekeeping personnel must never be targeted during military operations.

Thousands of Targets Hit in Iran

According to the US Central Command (CENTCOM), coalition forces have damaged or destroyed 43 Iranian military aircraft since the beginning of the campaign.

Officials also confirmed that more than 3,000 targets across Iran have been struck, including military infrastructure and strategic facilities.

Security experts warn that the continuing US–Israel military campaign against Iran could further destabilize the region, raising fears of a broader Middle East conflict if hostilities continue to escalate.
