UAE announces Hajj support

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has decided to pay the Hajj expenses of 344 pilgrims from Ghana for Hajj 2027. The initiative is aimed at helping selected Ghanaian Muslims perform the pilgrimage.

Cheque handed over in Accra

The UAE Ambassador to Ghana presented a cheque to Ghana’s Foreign Minister during a ceremony in Accra. The payment will support the planned Hajj arrangements for the selected pilgrims.

Ghana office to manage arrangements

Ghana’s Pilgrims Affairs Office will supervise the initiative and manage the related arrangements. The office will be responsible for coordinating the programme for the Ghanaian pilgrims.

UAE highlights close friendship

The UAE said the initiative reflects the strong friendship and close relationship between the two countries. The support also highlights cooperation between the UAE and Ghana in helping pilgrims prepare for Hajj.

The initiative will reduce the financial burden on 344 Ghanaian pilgrims. It also shows continued cooperation between the UAE and Ghana.

The final arrangements will be made by Ghana’s Pilgrims Affairs Office. The programme is planned for Hajj 2027.
