Pak Hajj App gets new features to make pilgrimage easier

Hajj package can now be changed

According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs, successful Hajj pilgrims can now change their Hajj package duration through the Pak Hajj App. Pilgrims can switch from the long Hajj package to the short package or change the short package to the long package.

The app also allows pilgrims to choose accommodation according to their needs. Options include two-bed, three-bed, family room and shared accommodation.

Medical certificate facility added

The Pak Hajj App now also provides a facility for the medical fitness certificate. Pilgrims can print the certificate from the app and get it verified by an authorised doctor.

After verification, pilgrims must upload the certified medical fitness certificate again through the Pak Hajj App or Hajj portal. Overseas Pakistani pilgrims can also obtain the certificate from an authorised doctor near them and upload it through the app.

Mehram and helper requests available

Successful pilgrims can also apply for their Mehram or helper under the hardship quota through the Pak Hajj App. This facility is intended to help pilgrims who need special arrangements during the Hajj process.

The app also allows pilgrims to cancel their Hajj application and request a refund if they face unavoidable circumstances. This gives applicants another option without requiring them to visit government offices.

More services available from home

The Ministry of Religious Affairs said several Hajj-related facilities are now available online through the app. The aim is to reduce the need for pilgrims to visit offices, stand in queues or wait for routine services.

The new features are designed to make different stages of the Hajj application process easier and more convenient. Pilgrims can now complete several important tasks from home with a few clicks.

The new Pak Hajj App features give pilgrims more flexibility in managing their Hajj arrangements. Package changes, accommodation choices and medical certificate services can now be handled online.

The refund and Mehram facilities may also reduce the need for physical visits to ministry offices. Overall, the updated app is aimed at making the Hajj application process simpler for pilgrims.
