(Web Desk): North Korea’s Kim Jong Un warns his country does not seek war but will not avoid it, condemning US-Israel strikes on Iran as illegal amid rising Middle East tensions.

North Korean leader Kim Jong Un has broken his silence on the escalating tensions between Iran, the United States, and Israel, warning that while North Korea does not seek war, it is fully prepared if conflict becomes unavoidable.

According to North Korea’s state media, Kim made the remarks during a gathering of military personnel and government officials, where he issued a stern warning to Western countries—particularly the United States—while highlighting the strength of his country’s armed forces.

Kim Jong Un Condemns Attacks on Iran

During the address, Kim strongly criticized the recent military actions by the United States and Israel against Iran, describing them as “shameful and illegal aggression.” He said such actions represent a blatant violation of any country’s territorial sovereignty and national security.

Kim stated that North Korea respects the right of the Iranian people to choose their leadership, including the selection of a new Supreme Leader. He reiterated Pyongyang’s support for Iran amid the ongoing regional crisis.

“We do not want war, but we have no intention of avoiding it either,” Kim declared, signaling a firm stance as geopolitical tensions continue to rise.

Analysts Link Statement to North Korea’s Nuclear Strategy

Political analysts believe that North Korea may be using the current Middle East crisis to justify its continued expansion of its nuclear weapons program. According to experts, Pyongyang frequently frames global conflicts as evidence that powerful military capabilities are necessary for national survival.

Kim claimed that the global order is increasingly driven by “gangster-style logic,” where only nations with overwhelming power can ensure their security.

Cruise Missile Test and Military Modernization

Foreign media reports also indicate that North Korea recently conducted a cruise missile test, further demonstrating its advancing military capabilities. The development comes as the country continues to expand its arsenal of strategic weapons.

Kim emphasized the need to equip North Korean warships with supersonic weapons to strengthen naval combat readiness and enhance deterrence capabilities.

The latest statement and military activity underline North Korea’s intent to maintain a strong defense posture while positioning itself as a vocal critic of Western military actions in the Middle East.
