(Web Desk): Israel is reportedly planning to offer the US permanent military bases, potentially shifting key assets from Gulf countries.

Israeli media reports suggest that Israel is preparing to offer the United States the option to establish military bases on its soil, a move that could reshape the region’s defense landscape.

Currently, there is no permanent US military base in Israel, with most major American bases located in Gulf countries. However, Israeli officials are now considering a proposal that could bring a more visible and permanent US military presence into the country.

According to reports, the existing US presence in Israel is limited and mostly operates within joint military facilities embedded inside Israeli bases. Despite this, advanced American military systems, including radar installations, are already active in the region.

The new proposal reportedly includes shifting some US military infrastructure from the Gulf region to Israel. This potential move is being discussed as part of broader strategic planning amid rising tensions across the Middle East.

Israeli media also indicates that the construction of new military complexes is under consideration to accommodate any future US presence. Such developments could significantly alter military dynamics in the region and strengthen defense cooperation between the two allies.

Analysts believe that if approved, the plan may trigger geopolitical reactions from neighboring countries, while also increasing Israel’s strategic importance for US operations in the Middle East.
