Reported strikes by the United States and Israel on Iran have raised serious concerns after energy installations were damaged despite earlier assurances from former US President Donald Trump.
According to Iranian media, multiple areas in Tehran and Karaj experienced power outages following the attacks. The strikes reportedly targeted key energy infrastructure, disrupting electricity supply and affecting daily life in several regions.
Officials confirmed that Iran’s Alborz province also faced disruptions, with parts of its power grid impacted during the strikes. However, authorities moved quickly to restore electricity, and power was resumed in most affected areas within a short period.
Iran’s Deputy Energy Minister later confirmed that electricity had been fully restored in eastern parts of Tehran, suggesting that emergency response teams were able to stabilize the situation efficiently.

In a further escalation, reports indicated that a petrochemical plant in Tabriz was also targeted during the attacks. The strikes have intensified tensions in the region, raising fears of a broader conflict and further disruptions to energy supplies.
Analysts warn that continued targeting of energy infrastructure could have serious consequences not only for Iran but also for global markets, especially at a time when oil prices are already under pressure due to geopolitical instability.
