(Web Desk): Iran launches a new wave of missile attacks under Operation True Promise 4, targeting US and Israeli military facilities across the Middle East amid rising tensions.

Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has announced a fresh wave of missile strikes targeting American and Israeli military facilities as part of “Operation True Promise 4.”

According to an official statement from the IRGC, the latest military operation involved continuous missile launches for nearly three hours, aiming at strategic military sites associated with the United States and Israel across the Middle East.

Iranian officials stated that the operation was designed to strike key military installations and operational centers linked to both countries. The attacks mark one of the most significant escalations in the ongoing regional tensions.

Military Targets Reportedly Hit Across the Region

Iran claimed that several military facilities were targeted during the operation. Among the locations mentioned were military sites in Erbil, Iraq, which hosts several strategic security installations.

The IRGC also stated that missiles were directed toward the headquarters of the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet in Bahrain, one of Washington’s most important naval command centers in the Middle East.

In Israel, Iranian missiles reportedly targeted military facilities in Tel Aviv, a major strategic and defense hub. Iranian officials further claimed that a satellite communications center in southern Tel Aviv was struck again after previously being targeted in earlier attacks.

Additionally, reports suggested that the Israeli port city of Haifa experienced multiple explosions following missile strikes during the latest wave of attacks.

Advanced Iranian Missiles Used in Operation

Iranian authorities revealed that several advanced missile systems were deployed during the operation, including:

  • Kheibar Shekan missiles
  • Qadr ballistic missiles
  • Khatam Shahr missiles

According to Iranian officials, many of these missiles were equipped with multiple warheads, increasing their destructive capability and effectiveness against large targets.

The Qadr missile, in particular, reportedly carries a warhead weighing up to one ton, making it capable of causing extensive damage to strategic infrastructure and military installations.

Background of Operation True Promise 4

The IRGC stated that Operation True Promise 4 began last month following what Iran described as military actions by the United States and Israel against Iranian interests.

Iran claims the missile strikes are part of a retaliatory campaign in response to those operations. The continuing exchange of threats and attacks has significantly heightened tensions across the Middle East.

Regional Tensions Continue to Rise

Security analysts warn that the latest missile wave could further destabilize the Middle East, as several regional governments closely monitor the situation.

Iranian authorities have also indicated that additional missile attacks could follow if actions against Iran continue. Experts fear that continued escalation may push the region toward a broader conflict involving multiple countries.

Governments across the region have increased security alerts and defense readiness as the geopolitical situation remains volatile.
