A new wave of attacks has been launched by Iran against Israel, escalating already high tensions in the region. According to media reports, Iranian forces targeted critical naval and fuel facilities in the city of Haifa during the latest strikes.
The attacks reportedly included the use of drones aimed at multiple sensitive locations across Israeli-controlled areas. These strikes mark a significant escalation, as Iran appears to be broadening both the scope and intensity of its operations.
On the other side, concerns are rising within Israel’s military leadership. Eyal Zamir, the Chief of Staff of the Israeli army, has issued a serious warning regarding a growing shortage of personnel. During a high-level security cabinet meeting, he reportedly cautioned that increasing operational demands combined with limited manpower could lead to internal strain within the military.
According to reports published by The Times of Israel, Zamir alerted senior officials that the army could face structural challenges if the situation continues. He described the scenario as raising multiple “red flags,” signaling urgent risks that need immediate attention.
