(Web Desk): Iran says it targeted US military assets in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, warning of further retaliation if power systems are attacked.

Iran has claimed responsibility for missile strikes targeting US-linked military installations in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, marking a sharp escalation in regional tensions.

A spokesperson for the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters stated that the Prince Sultan Air Base was targeted, describing it as a key hub for American military operations. The spokesperson added that US reconnaissance aircraft stationed at the base were hit using ballistic missiles.

In a separate claim, Iranian officials said they also launched missile and drone attacks on the US Navy’s Fifth Fleet presence in Bahrain, further widening the scope of the confrontation.

Meanwhile, Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps issued a strong warning, stating that any attack by the United States or Israel on Iran’s power infrastructure would trigger a similar response. The group warned that Israeli power plants and facilities supplying electricity to US bases could be targeted in retaliation.

The statement emphasized that Iran would respond to any threat “at the same level,” signaling a policy of direct and proportional retaliation.

These developments come amid growing fears of a broader regional conflict, as military actions and counter-threats continue to intensify. Analysts warn that further escalation could have serious implications for regional stability, global energy markets, and international security.
