(Web Desk): A passenger plane reportedly hits a fire truck at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, triggering a full flight suspension and emergency response.

Operations at LaGuardia Airport were suspended after an Air Canada Express passenger plane allegedly collided with a fire truck on the tarmac. The incident caused an immediate emergency at the airport control tower.

Initial reports indicate that a CRJ-900 aircraft struck the vehicle while taxiing near the runway. Following the collision, incoming flights were diverted or sent back, and airport authorities halted all operations. The Federal Aviation Administration imposed a ground stop, affecting both domestic and international flights.

Unconfirmed sources suggest the collision occurred near the central runway area, which was subsequently closed for safety. Emergency teams quickly responded, moving passengers to a safe area on the tarmac. Images circulating on social media show the aircraft with visible damage, though authorities have not yet confirmed any injuries or fatalities.
