ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Saudi Arabia has introduced new multiple-entry Umrah visa, allowing eligible pilgrims to visit the Kingdom several times a year under updated travel rules.

Saudi Arabia launches new multiple-entry Umrah visa

Saudi Arabia has officially introduced the Saudi Arabia multiple-entry Umrah visa, giving eligible pilgrims greater flexibility to perform Umrah more than once within a year.

According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the new Umrah visa will remain valid for 365 days from the date of issuance.

During this period, pilgrims can enter Saudi Arabia multiple times, with a maximum combined stay of 90 days, subject to the Kingdom’s immigration regulations.

The new Saudi Arabia multiple-entry Umrah visa is part of the Kingdom’s efforts to improve religious travel and make the pilgrimage process easier for millions of Muslims worldwide.

New Saudi Arabia Umrah rules explained

Under the updated Saudi Arabia Umrah rules, pilgrims must complete several requirements before every visit.

Travelers must purchase an approved service package through the Nusuk platform before each trip.

The package must remain valid for the duration of the visit and cannot exceed the remaining validity of the Umrah visa.

Pilgrims are also required to obtain an official Umrah permit through the Nusuk application before arriving in Saudi Arabia.

Authorities said the Saudi Arabia multiple-entry Umrah visa will automatically deactivate after a pilgrim leaves the Kingdom.

It will only be reactivated before the next visit after all required conditions have been completed through the Nusuk platform.

Visa cannot be used during Hajj

Saudi officials clarified that the Umrah visa cannot be used during the annual Hajj season.

The visa will remain inactive from 1 Dhu Al Qadah until 13 Dhu Al Hijjah, when entry into the Kingdom is restricted under Hajj regulations.

Officials advised pilgrims to carefully plan their travel dates according to the new Saudi Arabia Umrah rules to avoid any inconvenience.

Part of Saudi Vision 2030

The initiative supports Saudi Vision 2030, which aims to modernize pilgrimage services through digital systems and improve the overall experience for visitors.

The Nusuk platform will continue serving as the central digital system for booking services, obtaining permits, and managing pilgrimage arrangements.

Saudi Arabia hopes the latest reforms under Saudi Vision 2030 will help the Kingdom welcome around 30 million Umrah pilgrims every year while making travel safer, faster, and more convenient.
