Saudi Arabia extends vaccination deadline for travelers

New vaccination deadline announced

The Saudi Arabia vaccination deadline will now take effect at 10am on November 20. The requirement applies to Umrah pilgrims and other passengers travelling to Saudi Arabia from Karachi Airport.

Earlier deadline postponed

The rule was originally scheduled to begin on October 15, requiring passengers to show their vaccination cards. An airport circular confirmed that authorities had postponed the implementation date by another month.

Vaccination facilities available at airport

Passengers can receive vaccinations around the clock at the government dispensary at Karachi Airport. Travellers must get vaccinated at least 10 days before departure to meet the requirement.

Emergency services for departing passengers

Emergency vaccination facilities are also available in the airport’s departure lounge. These services aim to help Umrah pilgrims and other travellers arriving from distant areas who need vaccination before their flights.
