Roshan Khatoon was seriously injured on February 28 after a violent incident in Amhi village in Ghoghardiha, located in Madhubani district of Bihar. She had reportedly gone to meet the village head to resolve a dispute when the attack occurred.
According to local reports, Khatoon was allegedly tied to a pole and beaten by a group of people led by Manu Singh, the son of the village head.
