Elon Musk, former head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) in the Trump administration, announced the formation of a new political party in the United States, the America Party, on July 5.

Elon announced the formation of the new party in his X (Formerly Twitter) post, saying that today the  America Party  was created to give you back your freedom.

President Trump responded to Elon Musk s political party announcement, calling it ridiculous.

On Sunday, Trump told reporters in New Jersey that he thought starting a third party was a ridiculous idea. Starting a third party would only add to the confusion.

Trump addressed the Elon Musk sect, saying that if they want to create a third party, they can enjoy it, but to me, it s completely unnecessary and wasteful.

In addition, President Trump said that we have a good chance of making a deal with Hamas this week, some hostages may come out. I will talk to Netanyahu and Iran about working on a permanent deal.

It should be noted that Elon Musk was one of the top campaign managers for US President Donald Trump, and after Donald Trump became president, Elon Musk was also made the head of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). However, he later resigned from his position and his relationship with President Trump deteriorated.
