(Web Desk): The asteroid ‘God of Chaos’ to pass near Earth in 3 years, flying closer than satellites, NASA reveals the possible threats to Earth.

Scientists say a huge asteroid, known as Apophis, will pass very close to Earth in April 2029. This space rock is about the size of three football fields, making it one of the most talked-about asteroids in recent years.

The asteroid is named after an ancient Egyptian figure called the “God of Chaos”. Because of its size and path, it has long been considered a “potentially hazardous asteroid”.

According to NASA, Apophis will pass around 20,000 miles above Earth’s surface. This is even closer than many satellites that orbit the planet, some of which stay about 22,000 miles away.

Despite its close approach, scientists have clearly said there is no danger. After years of careful tracking, experts are confident that Apophis will not hit Earth, not just in 2029 but for at least the next 100 years.

NASA also reassured that there is no risk to people, satellites, or astronauts. The agency said the event is safe but very important for research.

Experts are excited because this rare event will allow scientists to study a large asteroid from a very close distance. It will help them better understand how such objects move and behave in space.

Interestingly, people in parts of the Eastern Hemisphere may even be able to see the asteroid with the naked eye, depending on weather conditions. This makes it not just a scientific event but also a rare sight for the public.

While the name “God of Chaos” may sound scary, scientists say this is actually a unique chance to learn more about space rather than worry about danger.
