(Web Desk): Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17e is set to introduce Dynamic Island, slimmer bezels and a powerful A19 chip in a major upgrade for budget iPhone users.

Apple has intensified preparations for its upcoming smartphone, the iPhone 17e, with early leaks revealing several major upgrades aimed at making the budget-friendly ‘e’ series more modern and appealing. Tech analysts say Apple plans to offer a noticeably improved design compared to previous e-models, sparking curiosity among users and the global tech community.

According to reports, the iPhone 17e will feature slimmer bezels, giving the device a more premium and contemporary look. Apple is expected to use the same OLED panel found in the iPhone 14 — a display that is also used in the current iPhone 16e. Chinese display manufacturer BOE will supply most of these panels, while Samsung Display and LG Display will also participate in the project.

Earlier claims suggested the iPhone 17e would not include Dynamic Island, but new reports indicate the opposite. Experts now believe Apple may introduce Dynamic Island in this model alongside the new A19 chip, which is expected to significantly boost performance and speed.

Currently, the market offers the iPhone 16e with a notch-style display and A18 chip, similar to the iPhone 13 and iPhone 14. While adding slim bezels is considered a low-cost upgrade, integrating Dynamic Island requires new sensors, an upgraded TrueDepth system and a redesigned masking layout — all more expensive steps for Apple’s lower-priced e-series lineup.

The iPhone 17e is expected to feature a 6.1-inch 60Hz OLED display with improved brightness and clarity, enhancing video playback, gaming and everyday use. Well-known analysts Ming-Chi Kuo, Mark Gurman and The Elec report that Apple plans to launch the iPhone 17e early next year.
