(Web Desk): Pakistan’s junior squash team has defeated India in the Asian Junior Squash Championship held in South Korea from July 1 to July 5, 2025, bagging seven medals.

Pakistan’s young squash players’ skill and talent were showcased at the 2025 Asian Junior Squash Championship in South Korea, where they delivered an impressive performance against India and other competitors.

In the boys’ Under-13 final, Suhail Adnan of Pakistan claimed victory over India’s Ayaan Dhanuka with scores of 11-5, 11-2, 11-13, and 11-6, showcasing excellent skill and resilience.

Meanwhile, in the Under-15 category, Pakistan’s Nauman Khan dominated the court by overcoming fellow Pakistani Ahmad Rayan Khalil in straight sets — 12-10, 11-6, and 11-2 — to secure a gold medal.

On the girls’ side, Pakistan’s Mahnoor Ali fought valiantly in the Under-13 final but was narrowly edged out by China’s Yan Xiuwan in a gripping five-game match, ending with close scores of 9-11, 11-6, 11-9, 9-11, and 10-12.

Overall, Pakistan secured two gold, two silver, and one bronze medal in the main events.

Moreover, the team claimed two more titles in the Plate Division, bringing their total medal count to seven — a testament to the country’s increasing prowess in junior squash.
