(Web Desk): Pakistan’s javelin star Arshad Nadeem has won a gold medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games, once again making the nation proud.

During the final of the event at Prince Faisal bin Fahd Stadium, Arshad competed against seven athletes.

On his second throw, he achieved 83.05 meters, leaving no competitor close to his mark. No other participant crossed the 80-meter line, making his victory decisive.

Arshad expressed his happiness, saying, “I am very happy because I won this honor right after recovering from an injury. I thank Allah for bringing me back to this level and congratulate the whole nation. Now my focus is on preparing for the 2026 competitions.”

This win is a major comeback for Arshad, who had faced injuries and coaching disputes in the past. His gold medal brought huge joy to sports fans in Pakistan.

Meanwhile, Mohammad Yasir secured the silver medal in javelin. Most of the competition saw him trailing behind Nigeria’s Samuel Kore, but in his final throw, Yasir threw 76.04 meters, surpassing Kore’s 76.01 meters by just three centimeters.
