PSL 11 players auction begins today with 880 players registered as teams prepare to complete squads ahead of the March tournament.
For the first time in Pakistan Super League (PSL) history, a full players auction will be held, marking a major shift in how teams build their squads. Franchises will bid for local and international cricketers to strengthen their lineups before PSL 11 kicks off.
According to officials, a total of 880 players have registered for the auction, giving franchises a wide pool of talent to choose from. Teams have been allocated a budget of Rs505 million each to finalize their squads, making it one of the biggest player markets in PSL history.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed that player retention and direct signing costs will also be included within the overall team budget. This means franchises must carefully balance spending while securing top performers.
