Injured Babar Azam ruled out of Pakistan vs Bangladesh first Test
Pakistan Cricket Board said in an official statement that Babar Azam will not be available for the first Test against Bangladesh national cricket team. He has been ruled out because of an injury to his left knee.
According to the board, the national team’s medical panel is currently examining the injury. He will be allowed to return to practice only after doctors complete their assessment.

Pakistan and Bangladesh are set to play a two-match Test series. The first match will begin on 8 May in Dhaka.
The news has come at a time when Babar had recently made an impressive return to form. His performances had once again brought confidence to Pakistan’s batting line-up.
In the recently concluded Pakistan Super League, Babar finished as the leading run-scorer of the tournament. His team Peshawar Zalmi also lifted the title.
Speaking after that victory, Babar said the win was a major achievement for both him and the franchise. He added that his main aim was to regain form and he was pleased to achieve that goal.

Babar’s absence could be a big challenge for Pakistan at the start of the series. His recent form had made him one of the team’s key players.
